The Carrier OptiClean Air Diffuser kit adds directional airflow to the exhaust opening of the OptiClean™ Air Scrubber.

The Air Diffuser consists of:

• Pre-assembled diffuser with internal 1” foil-faced insulation
• Hardware bag with self-tapping screws and instructions

How to Install
The Carrier Air Diffuser is a great addition to your OptiClean air scrubber that provides more precise directional airflow and reduces sound levels by up to two decibels in air scrubber applications. It’s easy to install by following these simple steps:

1. Turn off all electrical supply to the OptiClean unit.
2. Remove the assembled diffuser and hardware back from the carton.
3. If the factory supplied duct transition has been installed on the unit’s exhaust opening, remove and store or discard. Only a duct transition or a diffuser should be installed.
4. Position the diffuser over the unit’s exhaust opening flanges.
5. Attach the diffuser to the flanges with the provided hardware
6. Restore power to the unit.
